At Greycare, your dog’s wellbeing is our top priority. Here’s everything you need to know about how we’ll care for your hound, and what you agree to when making a booking with us.

🐾 General Care & Safety

 

Even after a successful trial day, dogs staying at Greycare may still be unfamiliar with one another. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we’ll always monitor behaviour closely. In rare cases, we may need to separate dogs temporarily, and we’ll always contact you or your emergency contact if that happens.

If for any reason your dog isn’t settling and we feel we can’t continue their stay safely, we’ll get in touch and refund the unused portion of your booking.

 

We aim to be with your dog at all times, but as part of our home boarding license, dogs may be left alone for short periods (up to 3 hours). During that time, they’ll be safe and secure in our home.

🐶 Vet Care & Emergencies

If your dog becomes unwell while in our care, we’ll contact you (or your emergency contact) to arrange a vet visit. In the case of an accident or urgent medical need, we’ll take your dog to Vets Now Glasgow, 123-145 North Street, G3 7DA for emergency treatment.

You agree to cover any veterinary costs, including medication, treatment, or transport (if needed). We’ll always do our best to reach you first, but if time is critical, you give Greycare permission to make decisions in your dog’s best interest, following professional veterinary advice.

Any costs paid on your behalf (e.g. vet bills, transport fees, etc.) must be reimbursed within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

📅 Booking & Payment
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Quotes are valid for 3 days – after that, dates may be offered to others if the deposit isn’t received.

  • The full balance must be paid by the day before your dog’s stay begins.

Cancellations

Boarding:

  • More than 28 days’ notice: Full refund of your deposit

  • Within 28 days: 50% of the full booking total will be charged

  • On or after the start date: No refund

Daycare & Trial Days:

  • Cancel by 8am the day before: Full refund

  • Cancel after 8am the day before: No refund – full booking cost will apply
